Redeemer’s University is a private, faith-based University owned by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). It was licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria in January 2005. Redeemer’s University hosts the World Bank supported African Centre of Excellence for Genomics of
Infectious Diseases (ACEGID), Audacious Sentinel Project (2020), and has won several awards and grants. The University is the recipient of the Alexander von Humboldt Grant
(2020), Al-Sumait Prize for African Development (Health) in 2021 and the Winner, 2022 NAS Gold Award for Best University in Science so on.

The University was rated as the Best Private University and the Second Overall Best University in Nigeria by the Nigerian Universities System, 2021 Ranking.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR TEACHING STAFF POSITIONS IN THE UNIVERSITY

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the under-listed teaching staff positions in the Department of Christian Religious Studies, Faculty of Humanities; Department of Business Administration and Marketing, Faculty of Management Sciences and Department of Political Science in the Faculty of Social Sciences:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR TEACHING STAFF POSITIONS

1. Professor (RUASS 7)

Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable university in the discipline applied for, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 12 years post qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

2. Senior Lecturer (RUASS 5)

Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable university in the discipline applied for, with evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly
publications in reputable journals (in related field of study), project design and monitoring, administrative experience and so on, with at least 6 years post qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.

3. Lecturer I (RUASS 4)

Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable university in the discipline applied for, with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification work experience in a
University/Research Institute and with evidence of scholarly publications in reputable
journals.

4. Lecturer II (RUASS 3)

Applicants should possess a PhD degree in the discipline applied for or Master’s degree with minimum of three (3) years full-time post-qualification teaching
experience.

5. Assistant Lecturer (RUASS 2)

Applicants should possess a research-based Master’s degree with at least one (1) year, full-time post qualification experience.

He/She must possess a Master’s degree result that qualifies for a PhD degree in the relevant discipline and must have registered for the degree in a reputable university.
