Academic Requirements for Academic Vacancy
Social and Management Sciences
1. Lecturer 1
Candidates must possess a good Honours degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division), a Master Degree plus a Ph.D Degree in relevant field as advertised.
He must also have evidence of not less than three (3) publications in both local and international reputable journals and three years’ post-qualification experience.
NYSC certificate and Computer literacy are mandatory requirements.
In addition, professional qualification such as ICAN, ACA, CNA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA, ANAN is required for Accounting Programme.
2. Senior Lecturer
Candidates must possess a good Honours degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division), a Master Degree plus a Ph.D Degree in relevant field as advertised.
Applicants must have spent not less than five years teaching in a recognized University.
Applicant must also have proven ability of grantsmanship as well as evidence of secured grants.
In addition, candidate must possess adequate number of quality publication in indexed peer-reviewed journals which will be assessed using the Precious Cornerstone University’s Publications Assessment criteria as approved by the council.
NYSC certificate, professional qualifications and Computer literacy are mandatory requirements.
3. Associate Professor
Candidates must possess a good Honours degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division), a Master Degree plus a Ph.D Degree in relevant field as advertised.
Applicants must have spent not less than nine years teaching in a recognized University.
Applicant must also have proven ability of grantsmanship as well as evidence of secured grants.
In addition, candidate must possess adequate number of quality publication in
indexed peer-reviewed journals which will be assessed using the Precious Cornerstone University’s Publications Assessment criteria as approved by the council.
Evidence of supervision of postgraduate thesis and external examiner is a welcome addition.
