Academic Requirements and Qualifications
1. Professor (KDUTSS 07)
- Candidates should possess a Ph.D Degree in relevant field with a minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience in full-time teaching and research.
- Candidate must possess ability to initiate and supervise research projects and have at least 25 significant peer-reviewed scholarly publications in reputable National and International outlets with membership of relevant professional bodies where applicable.
- Administrative experience will be an advantage.
- Successful applicant must be able to give academic and professional leadership in the field. Proficiency in ICT with demonstrable competence is a requirement.
2. Reader (KDUTSS 06)
- Candidates should possess a Ph.D Degree in relevant field with a minimum of nine (9) years’ experience in full-time teaching and research.
- Must have at least 20 significant peer-reviewed scholarly publications in reputable National and International outlets with membership of relevant professional bodies where applicable.
3. Senior Lecturer (KDUTSS 05)
- Candidates should possess a Ph. D Degree in relevant field with a minimum of six (6) years of
- University experience in full-time teaching, research and administration
- Must have at least 12 significant scholarly publications in National and International peer reviewed journals with membership of relevant professional bodies where applicable.
- Candidate must show ability to develop and execute research projects and must show evidence of research direction.
- Proficiency in ICT with demonstrable competence is a requirement.
4. Lecturer 1 (KDUTSS 04)
- Candidate must possess a P.hD. Degree in the relevant field with three (3) years of post-doctoral experience in teaching and research and a minimum of four scholarly publications in National and International peer-reviewed Journals.
- Candidate must show evidence of membership of relevant professional bodies where applicable.
- Proficiency in ICT with demonstrable competence is a requirement.
5. Lecturer 2 (KDUTSS 03)
- Candidates should possess a Ph.D degree in the relevant field.

Non Academic Vacancy for Principal, Internal Auditor (KDUNTSS 11)
This position is part of the internal audit unit in the administrative division of the university.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess a good University Degree in Accounting or other relevant discipline from a recognised University, as well as have at least 5 O’ Level credits including English Language and Mathematics
- Must have at least fifteen (15) years post qualification cognate experience.
- In addition, any of the following professional qualifications: ACA. CNA, ACCA, CPA, ACNA, ANAN will be an added advantage.
Conditions of Service at Kola Daisi University
The appointment is for a probationary period of two years in the first instance and may be confirmed to the retiring age.
