Chevening is the UK Government’s international scholarships programme. Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organisations, we offer awards to study in the UK for one year on a fully funded master’s degree course.

2025/2026 Chevening Scholarship Application Requirements and Documents
All Chevening applicants must be eligible and submit their education documents and references. To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship, you must:
1. Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.
2. Commit to returning to your home country for at least two years after your scholarship ends.
3. Have at least two years of work experience (2,800 hours).
4. Hold an undergraduate degree that qualifies you for a UK master’s programme.
5. Apply to three different and eligible UK university courses.

Holders of British or dual British citizenship are not eligible to apply.
