The management of the Federal University of Agriculture (FUNAAB) and that of Adekule Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA) would hold postgraduate convocation this week. This is in addition to the undergraduate convocation the institution would hold for first degree holders.
The Vice Chancellor of FUNAAB, Prof. Kolawole Salako, stated this as part of activities for the FUNAAB 26th convocation ceremonies. He also noted that the University would award 79 PhDs, 241 Academic Masters, 65 Professional Masters and 33 Postgraduate diplomas. The institution would also confer n Honourary Doctorate Degree on Nigeria’s only Nobel Laureate and Abeokuta indigene Prof. Wole Soyinka.
In related news, Adekule Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA) would award postgraduate degrees to 151 students. The break down, given by the Vice Chancellor, shows that 108 would bag postgraduate diplomas, 39 would receive Master degree, while 4 students earned PhDs. The postgraduate convocation would be held along side those of first degree holders.
