As ASUU strike ends, PG students are back to campus.

The eight months strike embarked on by the academic staff union of Nigerian universities ASUU have been called of two week ago. Different universities across Nigeria have been announcing resumption dates for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Also, a number of academic activities like sale of postgraduate forms, screening test, clearance and others have resumed. A list of schools and their postgraduate schedule are below.

Post-ASUU Strike Postgraduate PG Resumption

1. University of Ilorin UNILORIN –   PG students resume on 24th October, 2022.
2. Ahmadu Bello University ABU – completion of students’ registration, consideration of outstanding results by the Standing Committee, Post Graduate examination seminar and external examinations.
3. Federal University of Technology Akure FUTA – Modified Postgraduate Academic Calendar for 2020/2021 session.
   Sun 23rd October, 2022 – Arrival of all Students. Mon. 24th October, 2022 – Lectures Resume. Mon. 24th October, 2022 – Normal Registration continues for Fresh Students. Mon. 31st October, 2022 – Normal Registration ends for Fresh Students. Mon. 5th December, 2022 – First Semester Examinations Begin for All Students. Sat. 17th December, 2022 – First Semester Examinations End for All Students. Sat. 17th December, 2022 – End of First Semester 2020/2021 Academic Session..  Five (5) Weeks of Lectures; One (1) Lecture-Free Week; Two (2) Weeks of Examinations.
4. University of Abuja UNIABUJA – Friday 14th October 2022. Students should complete their registeration on the school portal, not later than 2 weeks from now.
5. Federal University of Lafia FUL– School resumes Sunday, October 21 as academic activities will commence on Monday, October 31.
6. Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE)– Monday, October 17, 2022.
7. Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) – Monday, October 17, 2022, to complete the 2021/2022 session.
8. Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) – Mon. 24th October, 2022.
   2021/2022 academic session will be subsumed into the 2022/2023 academic session. First semester for the 2022/2023 postgraduate academic calendar will begin on Monday, 24 October, 2022 through 6 May, 2023 while the second semester will commence on May 8, 2023 and ends on 9 September, 2023.
9. Modibbo Adama University (MAUTECH), Yola – 24th October, 2022.  Postgraduate Academic Calendar 2020/2021. Lectures from 24th October, 2022 till 23rd December, 2022.
