At least, seven new postgraduate courses and programmes have be established to commence at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Akwa. The university also know as UNIZIK made this known at a thanksgiving service for it’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Charles Esimone.
Nnamdi Azikiwe University NAU Vice Chancellor in an address listed the new academic programmes added to its College of Postgraduate Studies. They are, a PhD in Quantity Surveying, MPhil/PhD, Banking and Finance as well as Business Administration. Other new postgraduate courses are postgraduate diploma, masters and PhD in Entrepreneurship and M.Sc in Community Eye Health through the
Centre for Eye Health Research and Training (CEHRAT).
Furthermore, a research master of science and PhD has started at the Institute of Oncology and Centre for Cancer. Then, at the Centre for Sustainable Development M.Sc, MPCM in Peace and Conflict.
The thanksgiving was to mark the 4th anniversary of the administration of Prof. Esimone as Vice Chancellor. He gave details of laudable achievements recorded thus far during his tenure.
